On My Way is a new online tool that allows patients to locate emergency and urgent care services within the Saint Francis Health System.
Starting July 15, On My Way will replace the existing process of selecting scheduled appointment times when visiting a Warren Clinic Urgent Care location.
A function of Epic MyChart, On My Way offers patients information about distances to Urgent Care and Emergency facilities and displays estimated wait times at Urgent Care facilities.
After providing a few simple pieces of information, Urgent Care patients are placed in queue for treatment and are provided directions to their facility. Patients can choose to receive updates on their place in the queue and changes in their expected wait time. They also receive an eCheckin link.
Emergency Room patients can receive driving directions and self-registration information after arriving.
For Urgent Care and Emergency Department staff, On My Way streamlines the arrival process by sending a notification that the patient is on their way. Departments will also be advised of estimated arrival time and chief complaint. If a patient is signed into their MyChart account, On My Way will match the expected arrival to the existing Epic patient record.
