Pediatric Emergency Services

The Pediatric Emergency Center (PEC) at Saint Francis in Tulsa is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week. When you need emergency care for your child, our emergency medicine physicians, nurses and staff are ready to diagnose and treat ill or injured children.

Pediatric Emergency Room

By providing pediatric-specific emergency care, the PEC recognizes the medical and emotional differences when it comes to emergencies and the care of children. While trying to keep our pediatric patients calm and comfortable, we can better attend to their healthcare needs.

Together with Saint Francis Children's Hospital, several pediatric sub-specialists are available to kids coming into the pediatric emergency department including critical care, orthopedics, reconstructive surgery and cardiology.

Emergency Department or Urgent Care?

Distinguishing between emergency or urgency in advance can make a big difference for the care of our patients and their families. When an emergency comes up, you may be too flustered, hurt or confused to determine the best level of care needed. Take the time now to learn which type of care is needed and when it is needed.

Urgent Care Centers

Non-emergency services, including the diagnosis and treatment of common illnesses, are best treated at our urgent care centers or by your primary care physician.
