Introducing MyChart Bedside
Saint Francis MyChart Bedside is a secure online tool to help you review and manage your hospital stay using the MyChart mobile app on your smartphone.
Once you are admitted to the hospital*, MyChart Bedside is activated within your existing Saint Francis MyChart account and smartphone mobile app.
*MyChart Bedside not available for patients in the Emergency Room or at Laureate Psychiatric Clinic and Hospital.

- View certain lab and test results
- If you have a family member as a proxy on your MyChart account, they will be notified of your inpatient admission and care.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do you need a Saint Francis MyChart account to use MyChart Bedside?
Yes. All Saint Francis Health System patients can register for a MyChart online account. If you already have an account, simply download/sign in to the mobile app and MyChart Bedside will be enabled. If you do not have a MyChart account, follow these steps to register:
- After being admitted to the hospital, check the email account you have on file with Saint Francis Health System
- Look for an email or text message to activate your MyChart account
- Follow the steps to download the MyChart mobile app
- Click on the app to follow steps to access your information within MyChart
- Once your account is active, MyChart Bedside will be automatically enabled during your hospital stay.
Is MyChart secure?
Yes—MyChart is a secure online electronic medical record system.
Can I use MyChart Bedside after I leave the hospital?
Once you are discharged from the hospital, the MyChart Bedside feature becomes inactive. The information from your hospital stay, including discharge instructions and medication information will be available for review and reference through your personal Saint Francis MyChart account.
Can a family member access my health information while I'm in the hospital?
If Saint Francis MyChart proxy access has already been established prior to your hospital admission, your proxy will be able to see your information via MyChart. Your MyChart proxy will be sent a message if you are admitted to the hospital.
