Khadija Belhassan, M.D., is board eligible in Laboratory Genetics and Genomics (LGG) by the American Board of Medical Genetics and Genomics (ABMGG). Dr. Belhassan completed her LGG training program in 2020 at Washington University (St. Louis) under the supervision of Dr. Julie Neidich. Prior to joining the Saint Francis Center for Genetic Testing, she completed her Medical Genetics residency training in 2017 at the University of Fes (Morocco) and joined the National Human Genome Research Institute’s (NHGRI) Division of Intramural Research at the National Institute of Health (NIH) as a researcher in the Human Development Section under the supervision of Dr. Max Muenke. In 2021, Dr. Belhassan served as a Medical Director consultant for Veritas Genetics and a variant scientist for Fabric Genomics. Dr. Belhassan has membership affiliations with the American College of Medical Genetics (ACMG) and the Association of Molecular Pathologists (AMP).

Lynne Whetsell is certified in Molecular Biology by the American Society for clinical Pathology. Prior to joining the Saint Francis Center for Genetic Testing, Ms. Whetsell was part of the technical staff in Molecular Genetics at the H.A. Chapman Institute of Medical Genetics. She obtained her NCA certification in Molecular Biology in 1997 and is a Member of the Association of Molecular Pathologists (AMP). Lynne is currently serving a two-year term as Technical Topics Representative for the AMP Program Committee.
