Whether you’re new to yoga or have perfected your poses, the Health Zone at Saint Francis offers a full range of classes to help you achieve optimal mind-body balance. Here, in our 700,000-square-foot, medically based fitness facility, our experts will lead you in ancient exercises that combine stretching and controlled breathing to achieve relaxation and overall wellness.

Basic Yoga (Gentle): The perfect class for those new to yoga, or those looking for a gentle yoga experience.
Chair Yoga (Gentle): Designed for anyone who wants to improve, strength, mobility and range of motion. Postures are done either sitting in a chair or with the assistance of a chair.
Christ-Centered Yoga (Moderate): A traditional Hatha practice integrated with Biblical reflections. Beginning to Intermediate level. This class helps inspire reflections on how one may fully integrate their Christian faith into their daily lives.
Easy Flow Yoga (Gentle): Experience flow yoga using large fitness balls. The ball allows one to perform yoga movement patterns with better balance and range of motion.
Gentle Yoga (Gentle): Designed for any age with an emphasis on simplicity, repetition and ease of movement.
Hatha Yoga (Moderate): This class incorporates physical postures, breathing practices and relaxation to harmonize body, mind and spirit. For all ages and fitness levels.
Thematic Yoga (Moderate): This class is based on themes, from working with the chakras to hip openers, glandular system to back bends; 4-8 weeks is spent on each theme.
Yin Yoga (Moderate): A complement to more active types of yoga, poses/asanas are held for a longer duration in this class. Similar to deep stretch, yin yoga targets the deep tissues of the body. This class is appropriate for most levels of students.
Yoga Muscle (Moderate): Yoga asanas will be incorporated with light weight exercises to tone and lengthen muscle.
Please note:
- All classes are coed
- Class schedule subject to change
- A limited number of yoga mats are available for member use. Please bring your own mat to class if you have one.
We recommend you drink plenty of water in the hours leading up to, during and after any fitness class. Please arrive a few minutes early to get your mat and props set up. Dress comfortably, keeping in mind that yoga does involve inverting. Tighter-fitting clothes will keep you modestly dressed during all the asanas.
