CLIMB Support Group
CLIMB®
CLIMB®, a program from the Children's Treehouse Foundation, is a new emotional support program at the Saint Francis Cancer Center for children and teens, ages 6-18, whose parents are diagnosed with cancer. Through this program, our trained facilitators will teach participants about cancer, how to lose the sense of isolation and how to communicate and cope with their feelings.
This program is FREE because we firmly believe that stronger families make stronger survivors.
The CLIMB® Support Group meets at the Saint Francis Cancer Center at 11212 E 48th St., Tulsa, OK 74146. Beginning on September 29, sessions gather on Thursdays from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m. as follows:
- Week 1: All About Me
- Week 2: What is Cancer?
- Week 3: It's OK to Feel Sad
- Week 4: Cancer Can Be Scary
- Week 5: It's Not Fair!
- Week 6: I Love You (graduation ceremony)
