Instructions for Connecting to Your MyChart Video Visit
Video visits are a convenient and easy way to get care from wherever you are. If you sometimes need help with your computer or smartphone, consider having a trusted friend or family member that can help when you get started.
- Hang up all phone calls prior to starting your video visit.
- If you know how, close all other apps on your phone.
- Log in to MyChart 15 minutes before your scheduled appointment and find your upcoming appointment under “Visits” or “Appointments.” Complete the E-check in process. This check-in is required before starting your video visit.
- Click your upcoming video visit to view the details.
- When ready to connect click “Begin Visit.”
- When asked to allow access to the camera and microphone, you must click “Yes” or “Allow.” Otherwise, your doctor will not be able to see or hear you.
- Wait for your provider to join the video session. If your provider is more than 15 minutes late to your appointment, please exit the video and call their office for assistance.
- Click “Leave Visit” when you’re ready to end the video visit.
- After allowing access to your camera and microphone, another browser will open and preform a hardware check. Press the green Join Call button to proceed.
