This in-depth, three-class series covers pregnancy, vaginal and Cesarean deliveries, pain control techniques, possible medical interventions, postpartum recovery and essential newborn information. You will also receive a course book and a helpful companion app that includes videos, checklists and applicable tools. It can be helpful take your childbirth class by 34 weeks.

Cost for the class is $30. Fee covers expectant mom and one support person. This is for the whole series of three evening classes.
Discounts are available for those students enrolled in Community Care, Sooner Care or are SFHS employees.

Class Expectations
- The information in this class will be covered over the listed 3 evenings. To get the most out of this event, please plan to attend all classes.
- Please bring one support person, the individual you plan to accompany you for your labor, delivery and recovery. You do not need to register your support person.
- Please bring two pillows and dress comfortably for the Lamaze and Bradley Method portions of the course.
- The temperature in the Education Center fluctuates so it is a good idea to dress in layers.

In-person Classes - Safety Precautions
As we resume in-person classes, we must be mindful of everyone involved and follow Saint Francis Health System safety guidelines. These include:
- Wearing a mask while in certain areas of the building (we can provide a mask for you and/or your support person if you need one)
- Observing social distancing while in the building, including while in class
- Sanitizing your hands before entering the classroom

Parking
Please park in the Employee Parking Garage (P6) on the east side of the campus. Please refrain from parking in spaces that are marked or labeled or have a sign hanging above them. Parking in one of them will result in a parking fine.
Enter the Education Center on street level. Class will be held on the A level of the education center. These doors are always locked. An educator will be at the doors 15 minutes before class begins to allow you access into the building.
