Common Warning Signs for Binge Eating

  • Frequent overeating that feels out of control
  • Eating rapidly
  • Eating to the point of being uncomfortably full
  • Eating alone
  • Irritation and disgust with self after overeating
  • History of dieting and/or failed diet attempts

Who's at Risk for Binge Eating

People who may need assistance with binge eating disorder often have:

  • Family history and biological factors
  • Psychological issues
  • A history of dieting
  • Although people of any age can have binge eating disorder, it often begins in the late teens or early 20s
