Once a patient is psychologically, nutritionally and medically stable, she can transition to our residential level of care. Patients may remain in the acute-care unit or move to Canyon Creek, a supervised, cottage-style living environment on the Laureate campus.
"Real World" Treatment
During residential treatment, each woman continues to participate in the full treatment program and meet with Dr. Godwin on a routine basis. In addition, she will participate in supervised off-campus meal outings and social outings, both of which encourage development of self-management in "real world" settings.
Residential Program Highlights
- Three to five sessions per week with Katherine Godwin, M.D., board-certified psychiatrist
- Cottage living
- Supervised therapeutic meals and social outings
- Off-campus therapeutic passes with peers or family
- Daily therapist-led groups in addition to individual and family therapy
- Nutritional assessment and therapy on a weekly basis
Questions?
Whether you or someone you love are suffering with an eating disorder, please call our admissions coordinators with any questions. You can reach Lisa and Becca directly at 800-322-5173; your conversation will be completely confidential.
Please note there is no obligation to proceed with treatment at Laureate just by calling us. If Laureate is not an appropriate option for care, our admissions coordinators can also assist with referrals to other treatment programs.
