Standard Hospital Pricing at Laureate
As part of Saint Francis Health System, Laureate provides a list of standard hospital charges to consumers per the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) guidelines. Prospective patients may examine a comprehensive listing for any individual hospital charge item or a DRG listing to estimate an inpatient stay.
No Surprises Act
Beginning January 1, 2022, Saint Francis Health System will be in compliance with the new, federal No Surprises Act that is designed to help patients better understand healthcare costs and protect them from surprise billing or balance billing. The law aims to protect consumers from unexpected bills for out-of-network care in emergency and non-emergency settings.
