Eating disorders are very complex illnesses, and it is important to have a qualified and experienced team of experts treating individuals in eating disorders programs.
At Laureate, establishing trusting and meaningful relationships with each patient is an integral part of our treatment philosophy. Our patients benefit from a 3:1 staff-to-patient ratio and may spend up to six hours per day with their personal therapist through programming. We strongly believe in the power of these relationships as part of the healing process.
Our team also believes in thorough interdisciplinary communication about each patient for effective treatment. Both our adolescent and adult teams separately gather for one hour every weekday to discuss each patient’s progress at length.
