Outpatient care is appropriate for those patients who are new to our service and who are medically and psychologically stable. Also, outpatient aftercare services are a critical element of successful recovery for patients transitioning from our adult or adolescent intensive programs. Services are designed to provide needed treatment with minimal disruptions to school and work schedules.
The Laureate Eating Disorders Program offers comprehensive outpatient services, including:
- Psychotherapy
- Nutrition therapy
- Medication assessment and management
Laureate contracts with most major insurance carriers, and services provided in our outpatient program usually are covered by insurance. We provide verification, obtain pre-authorization and manage ongoing insurance reviews for each of our patients.
