Partial Hospital Care

Our partial hospital level of care is for young women who are medically stabilized and have developed skills to aid their recovery journey. At this level of care, parents or caregivers are educated about medication planning, the exchange nutrition system and other tools to facilitate a smooth transition from our program.

Day-to-Day Responsibility

Participation in the full treatment program and weekly physician meetings continue, but patients take more responsibility for their day-to-day care. Adolescents usually stay with a parent in the Tulsa community (there are cost-effective resources available) but may continue living on campus.

Partial Hospital Program Highlights

  • On-campus living or off-campus with a family member
  • At least two to three sessions per week with Scott Moseman, M.D., board-certified child and adolescent psychiatrist
  • Daily therapist-led groups in addition to individual and family therapy
  • Nutritional assessment and therapy on an as-needed basis, including nutritional education for families to assist their loved one’s transition home.

Questions?

Whether you are a young woman suffering with an eating disorder, a parent, a friend or loved one, please call our admissions coordinators if you have any questions. You can reach Lisa and Lauren directly at 800-322-5173 and your conversation will be completely confidential.

Please note there is no obligation to proceed with treatment at Laureate just by calling us. If Laureate is not an appropriate option for care, our admissions coordinators can also assist with referrals to other treatment programs.
