Commitment to Quality

Laureate Eating Disorders Program in Tulsa, OK, as a part of Laureate Psychiatric Clinic and Hospital, is dedicated to providing quality care to its patients. Quality committees made up of nurses, physicians, medical professionals and other staff, meet on a regular basis to monitor and improve quality measures. Often these quality indicators are compared to other like-sized hospitals to help determine how Laureate initiatives measure up.

Laureate also uses the opinions of its patients to improve quality and service. Laureate measures patient satisfaction through a survey system developed by Professional Research Consultants, Inc. (PRC). Random samples of discharged patients are surveyed periodically by telephone and the percent of patient responses of "Excellent" are compared against other PRC client hospitals around the country. Survey results are presented monthly to staff and management and help direct efforts to improve the patient experience at Laureate.
