About Saint Francis Hospital South
Saint Francis Hospital South is the newest addition to the Saint Francis Health System entities. With the tremendous growth of Tulsa County and western Wagoner county, the need for a Saint Francis facility closer to the patients in these communities became great. South Tulsa and Wagoner Counties are among the fastest growing areas of the state. Between 2000 and 2005, Bixby and Jenks were two of the fastest growing cities in Oklahoma. Wagoner County is expected to grow more than 20 percent in the next eight to ten years.
Saint Francis Hospital South is a not-for-profit community hospital with more than 200 physicians with staff privileges and 300 employees. Opening with 52 beds, Saint Francis Hospital South will expand to 76 beds in late 2007. Labor and delivery services, newborn nursery, expanded imaging services and a cardiac catheterization lab will also be added in late 2007. And as a proud member of the Saint Francis Health System, Saint Francis Hospital South is part of a comprehensive network of care.
The vision of Saint Francis Health System, which includes Saint Francis Hospital, The Children’s Hospital at Saint Francis, Warren Clinic, Saint Francis Heart Hospital, Saint Francis Hospital South, Laureate Psychiatric Clinic and Hospital, and Saint Francis Broken Arrow, is to establish, lead and anchor a regional integrated delivery network providing services that will improve the health of all Oklahomans.
