Urgent Care Centers
Urgent Care Centers specialize in caring for patients after hours when most doctors’ offices are closed, on weekends and holidays. Urgent care physicians do not serve as ongoing primary care physicians. Urgent care physicians focus on the illness or injury needing attention and return your ongoing care to your primary physician. These centers are open long hours every day to handle problems that are not life threatening. But they are no substitute for a regular primary care doctor.
