Construction Update
The Saint Francis Heart Hospital has been growing and changing to meet the increased needs of area heart patients. The Heart Hospital originally opened at 91st Street and Highway 169 in April 2004. In June 2007, Saint Francis Heart Hospital relocated and expanded into Saint Francis Hospital at 61st and Yale Avenue. The innovative, patient and family-focused care model perfected at the Heart Hospital became available to even more people at the new location. Additional renovation and expansion of the Heart Hospital will occur after The Children’s Hospital at Saint Francis moves into its new facility in late 2007.
